Congratulations to Andrew Kelly, left, of Rogers-Herr Middle School and Hannah McShea of W.G. Pearson Middle Magnet School!  They were recently awarded Grand Recognition from Duke University’s Talent Identification Program.

Seventh-graders must score well on the SAT or ACT, which are normally given to high school juniors and seniors for college admission assessments.  Seventh-graders who take the test must score in the top 25 percentile of all students taking the test.

Andrew and Hannah both had SAT/ACT scores that were equal to or better than 90 percent of college bound seniors who took the test.  This also places them in the top 2 percent of the TIP Talent Search pool.
