Students get Grand Recognition from Duke University’s Talent Identification Program

Congratulations to Andrew Kelly, left, of Rogers-Herr Middle School and Hannah McShea of W.G. Pearson Middle Magnet School! They were recently awarded Grand Recognition from Duke University’s Talent Identification Program.
Hillside High School senior Asia Williams is the 2008-09 Gatorade North Carolina Girls Basketball Player of the Year. Williams is the first Gatorade North Carolina Girls Basketball Player of the Year to be chosen from Hillside High School.

Oak Grove Elementary School fifth-grader Rory Sargalis is one of 250
students from across the United States who will take part in the Junior
National Young Leaders Conference in Washington next month. The
conference is a program of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council.
